Renamed as SiteSeeker, the 532-page guide includes listings for more than 2,600 campsites across the UK. The rebrand also brings it in line with the Club’s online campsite search tool and its app of the same name, available for iOS and Android devices.
Formerly known as Your Big Sites Book, the guide features a new and simpler navigation structure, making it even easier for Club members to find and book a pitch for their next camping holiday.
It lists the Club’s UK network of more than 100 Club Sites, plus hundreds of Independent Listed Sites, and more than 1,500 smaller member-only Certificated Sites, making it the definitive guide to camping in the UK.
Certificated Sites, which can accommodate up to five caravans or motorhomes at any one time, plus tents, cost from £8 per unit per night.
Other features in SiteSeeker 2017-18 include a pull-out, standalone map of the UK with a 10 mile to 1 inch scale, plotted with every campsite listed in the book, giving campers a superb visual aid to planning their next adventure.
The guide is free to Club members who hold Paper Membership, while Online Members can order a copy for £10 by calling the Club’s friendly team on 024 7647 5442.
The 532-page guide is a great addition to the Club’s suite of members’ publications. It joins the award-winning* monthly Camping & Caravanning magazine, published in print, online and as a free tablet edition for iOS and Android devices.
Simon McGrath, Camping & Caravanning Editor-in-Chief, said: “SiteSeeker 2017-18 is a comprehensive campsite directory in print available exclusively to members of The Camping and Caravanning Club.
“Changing the name of the directory was a natural move: now any Club member planning their next holiday can research their perfect pitch using their preferred tool within our SiteSeeker family of print, online or app.”
