Wild With Consent is a new concept and the first of its kind which connects campervanners with consenting landowners, allowing them to get off-grid legally in the UK.
In keeping with demand for sites, Wild With Consent is expanding beyond Northumberland and is delighted to launch the 2022 season with a selection of stunning new handpicked nationwide locations. Founder Grace Fell is currently travelling the length and breadth of the Great Britain and adding new sites daily. Newest sites include Devon, Yorkshire Dales, North Wales, Scottish Borders, Northern Ireland and Lake District.
It’s official; campervanning has never been more popular. Figures released by the NCC (National Caravan Council) show that a record numbers of motorhomes and campervans were sold in 2021 and bookings for campsites in the UK this year are already up 33%.
Wild With Consent provides the perfect solution to these crowded campsites and enables their guests to legally get off-grid, disconnect and immerse themselves in nature; a demand we see continuing to grow:

Wild With Consent’s aim is to “share the wild” with others in a way that does not degenerate the very resource itself: the stunning views, peace and tranquillity, wildlife and raw nature. By strictly only allowing one campervan at each location per night, guests are guaranteed complete privacy, while the ‘leave no trace’ ethos ensures locations will remain unchanged and the wilderness left wild.
A selection of Wild With Consent’s brand new locations for 2022:
Yorkshire Dales, Adambottom Farm ~ Guests will wake up to the sound of oyster catchers and curlews, with views across to magnificent Bolton Castle and the gentle sound of River Ure running by. This is a stunning wilderness spot ideal for those wishing to explore the area, with opportunities to fish and wild swim on the doorstep.
North Wales, Y Berllan ~ A very quiet and peaceful location with views across to the rolling Clwydian hills to the east, and beaches of North Wales coastline to the north, there is everything from swimming, cycling, hiking and walking.
Devon, Axon Farm ~ Located on the edge of Blackdown Hills AONB and next to 110 acre Blackdown Common, this site is a wildlife haven. Look out for red deer, fallow deer and sika deer who live on the Common, as well as shrews, hares owls and numerous songbirds that provide some beautiful birdsong.
Lake District, Kings Meaburn ~ In an idyllic hay meadow, nestled into a meander of the River Lyvennet and surrounded by woodland, this site is the perfect location to access both the Lake District and Westmorland Dales. This site is close to plenty of walks without crowds and a beautiful spot for wild swimming. Fresh milk is available from the farm, while the village pub is a short walk away.
Northern Ireland, Sessile Oak Farm ~ Situated on top of a hill with spectacular views over the Curraghbruck hills and surrounded by over 15 acres of ancient woodland, Sessile Oak is a wonderfully remote and peaceful location. As one of the finest river valley woodlands in Northern Ireland there is plenty of wildlife to spot, and also ideal for wild swimming or salmon fishing (organised by request), while there are mountain biking trails galore all around, and the Sperrins mountain range a stone’s throw away.
