Did you get to the match last night? Bet it was a bit nail biting when it went to 1-1!

Thought you'd want to avoid Sunderland at all cost, as you've done too well against them over last couple of years.

I don't go to evening games as Newcastle is quite a round trip from here.

We can't wait to play them again, Nellie  Wink

The mighty United are on the telly again this afternoon (Sky Sports 1 3pm)

Away to Blackburn Rovers - who beat us in November at our own place - so a revenge mission is definitely the job today!

Just watching the warm-up act at the moment (Boro v Leicester) before the main event

Well I could have gone to the Eithad this afternoon to watch my beloved City but would have meant leaving Grassington early. Glad I didn't at the moment as just gone down to 10 men!! Please let 2017 start to improve for the blues!!

Tell the truth Paul - you heard the mighty United were on the telly and wanted to watch us instead  whistle

Well Newcastle would be the only United I would support!!

RE: The Mighty United - oneputt - 02-01-2017

Norwich managed their second win in ten attempts, 3 nil against Derby, hopefully start of a revival.  Apologies for being off message Yay!

RE: The Mighty United - Bugs - 02-01-2017

Well what a parcel of doo-doo that was!

79% United possession and 20 attempts on target - couldn't score!!

Gave Blackburn a rare chance with a free kick just outside our area - and guess what?

We only have ourselves to blame.

I'm going to drown my sorrows in the Travellers

Sad

Looks as if you've another bogie team, now. Lost to Blackburn twice this season by 1-0 and both goals scored by Charlie Mulgrew. Not that the win's taken them out of the bottom 3, just a shame that they let in that last minute goal against Huddersfield on Friday, still a draw and a win against 2 of the top 3 teams in the league promises well for the rest of the season.

RE: Footy Chat - Bugs - 14-01-2017

Well the mighty United got 3 points today - but we're not sure how!!

Lost 3 players to the Africa Cup of Nations this week, then had 3 key players injured against Brentford today - including 20-goal top scorer Dwight Gayle

Brighton suffered a rare defeat today which meant our 3 points took us back to the top of the table

Its a funny old game!

Huh
