Sorry TF, I think that you're taking a sledgehammer to crack a peanut.
Those cretins are like Trolls, pay them no attention and they will disappear, as ONE said, the technology is there to deal with such sad people and I am proud to be a Brit.
What effect, if any, would have been gained by taking the English team off?
I think it would have escalated the situation and made matters a lot worse, my opinion only.

I have never been into football , and don’t understand the need for it to take over everything, I don’t see people flying England flags when the cricket or rugby teams play , why ? .
To see grown men cry because their team has lost ,again I don’t get it .
We all have different sports we like and I get it , but I won’t be watching on Sunday

I appreciate that it is bit late now,but perhaps a request made by the stadium announcer, before the players lined up, that spectators should respect each country's national,anthem might have done some good.

Good Point Nellie. At least having such a warning broadcast it removes blame being put on the FA which happened after the Denmark Game.
