A Wierd Thing. - DianneT - 16-05-2017

In our Kia Sorento we have a built in digital clock. The strange thing is when we are in the UK whatever time of year or weather after 30 or so minutes into a journey the clock disappears and is not seen again till car is restarted.

Now when in Europe in over 3 years or so the clock has not disappeared once inc this year since leaving the Tunnel in Calais. Anyone know Why?

Looks like it's a known problem:

But ours is working fine here and has not disappeared since leaving Calais on 18th April.

Is it something to do with the clock synchronization with the radio time signal on long wave. My bedside clock does not like being taken abroad where it does not get signal.

Don't know nav but then you would think it would work at home and not here. It works at home for so long and then disappears.

You may have gone over a bump and moved a loose wire?
