AUSTRIA to me is like a second home especially the far south area of Karnten with all the Lakes and Mountains . The weather in Spring and Summer is similar to the Med.
The Austrians are very welcoming and helpful. You will find the acknowledge you everywhere with " Gruss Gott " (Gods Greetings) wherever you are on site, in shops or on the street. They love you to try a little German but mostly everyone speaks at least a little English and the young ones a lot.
Cost of Living much cheaper than most of Western Europe Food, Clothes and Fuel the latter at the moment on a par with Luxembourg.
