Others, on another forum, mention that they have heard that other sites won't be accepting Camping Cheques for 2017 but they are still listed on the website. Like others I think there may be a lot more site drop-outs to come. We visited a site last year which said they wouldn't be accepting cheques in the future, but they are still listed. I think sometimes the problem is that they have a contract with Camping Cheques, and the date for ending that contract for the following year may well have passed, so they are still listed, but very unhappy to accept payment with Camping Cheques and express this to customers!
Unfortunately it would appear that our days of purchasing of cheap Camping Cheques from others is over and this will be the last year we are able to do it - and even then (I suspect) on less sites than are listed on the website. There are, of course, the other changes mentioned - increased prices, and 'money-on-cards' rather than cheques.
