What to do now!
#31
Hi Tigerfish. Dianne alerted me to this post. Unfortunately, the site we use is Globe Vale, but that is just outside Redruth in Cornwall - perhaps a little far from Tavistock. If you do decide to take a look at Globe Vale (and I can highly recommend it) there are a variety of options, including what I can describe as semi-seasonal, where you can store your van there. They will then site it for you on a pitch for when you arrive. I'm sure they would offer a fully seasonal too. It would be worth ringing Louise or Paul to talk about your requirements, if you are interested. If you want a complete change they also have static mobile homes. Best wishes, David.

Hi, DSB. Statics - now there's an option we hadn't thought of. They can be found almost anywhere.

Thanks for that DSB, Will certainly take a look at Globe Vale. I think that if we are ultimately forced to part with our van, then a static would be a consideration, but we are not going to give up yet. `We will certainly wait to see what the Medicoe's come up with first!

There's a static with an upstairs sun deck for sale near me TF. At £299k I don't think there'll be much of a queue to buy it so no need to rush. Yay! Yay!

ThanksTW, it was Benson rather than DSB that used the Tavistock site. Apologies for any confusion.
In our home, dog fur is a fashion accessory! It's also a condiment....... Yay!  Heart

If you're interested in Globe Vale, perhaps a visit is in order? Either take down the van or hire a static for a few days. Paul and Louise Owen are really helpful and Paul works so hard in developing the site. It has a small bar on site which provides fairly basic pub food (nothing noisy). No pool. Paul's answer is that there is a big pool a couple of miles down the road..... the sea! ? ?
