So having moved from Whey Curd I set up in the owners second CL which is across the road from the farm. This is a large open area laid out with Hedges to mark the pitches. Again there was no toilets or showers but all other facilities were discreetly placed away from the vans. Price was the same as the other site. Radio reception and mobile signal were strong which allowed me to tether for internet access. Local village pub, The Carpenters Arms was a short stroll away and they served good food and beer. If I recall I think they are dog friendly. The site is about 5 miles from Cley about the same to Wells Next the Sea. Holkham hall is a couple of miles away. This is a lovely area for walking and cycling. Lots of wildlife around the site and really peaceful

There are some lovely CLs and CS's around Wighton, Bingham and Wareham. Area we stay in when visiting North Norfolk. Very quiet, but close to lots of lovely places. If you haven't had a glance OP, park up at Stiffkey Church, and try and get a look at the Manor House, which has been restored, along with the gardens! Tudor, absolutely stunning!

Here's another close by as well OP, worth a gaze from afar, not open to public. East Barsham Manor, not far from Walsingham. We blundered across it having decided to try and squeeze Gertie the MH through a gatehouse that was way too small! So we took to the wonderful back roads and farm tracks and came upon this stunner! It was up for sale at the time (£2.25million) which we thought a snip considering it was favoured by Henry VIII and his many wives!

Garden needs a bit of TLC though!
