Anyone else interested in the Ward Lock red tourist books from yesteryear? I have collected a few, and they make quite a nice reading guide when away in the van/MH. My favourite's are two that cover Dartmoor, and one based on Penzance, that covers most of Lands End as well. Some really quirky facts mentioned, lots of interesting history about places.
We also have the reproduced Bradshaw guide to railways, that Portillo uses as the basis for his rail journeys, again a great little travelling read to dip in and out of while away.
