We have been able to get away for the first time since new year after having to cancel our February trip to Meathorp Hall. Having a great weekend in York

Really missed being away n the van it is my way of relieving work stress!

Over the next 5 weeks got trips to Knaresborough, Hebden Bridge and the Wirral at Easter. Can’t wait??

Riggers. How true, for me it takes me back to the Foot & Mouth outbreak, with livestock on the farm and working with them we were not aloud to travel away from home in case we had contact with the disease . The only difference now is the species involved.
As for the van mine is in a workshop being serviced, there is a space outside that is empty, Times like this I would go onto the van make a cup of tea and read a book, Sad really but it does hold memories .

Hi David our van in storage so we never had that privilege. Missing it already. Being trying to decide whether or not to book some weekends for July/August in the hopes things settle down by then. Not optimistic though Sad

I think that we will wait for a while yet, and then head off for another extended trip. I've just to clean the inside now and we'll be ready for the off, whenever we're allowed.
Not all that wander are lost! They're just taking their dog for a walk!!

Yes it’s all very sad but hopefully these steps will do as they are intended. We have SORN’d the Motorhome as we can’t use it and will re tax it when it looks like all the restrictions have been lifted are will not be reinstated August hopefully
