It's a lovely place to visit at this time of the year. Just a pity that the big house is not generally open to the public. I think they have special open day tours for HHA members.
I have a wild garden, I call it a Natural Roughery I cut the grass as its called to keep down the Brambles , nettles and Wragwort , Also to keep a path so I can get out of the place, lots of visitors who help graze the grass , mainly rabbits and Deer .
I also have a wild garden
Due to lack of care as I've just returned from another eight days away
We get home tomorrow, after 9 weeks away. You think your garden is wild, we might not be able to make our way to the front door because of the seeds we'll have.
When we arrived home it took us nearly 30 mins to pull out all the mare's tails from the area where we park the caravan before I could get it off the road!
Sorry nellie, but,
I did have a chuckle on your behalf

Folks
One of the bushes which grows outside our garden shed is pivtured below.
It’s about 7ft tall and produces pink flowers which the bees love.
Anyone know what this bush is called?

Lilies at side of the stream in front garden. We set one plant about 20 years ago. I counted 22 flowers yesterday on a whole row of plants.
