Well done Sainsbury's
#1
I hope that I'm not in the minority by thanking Sainsbury's for banning the sale of fireworks in all their stores. Clap
No, I haven't got a short memory and do respect that young and old alike do enjoy them. I also used to enjoy them as a youngster and even in older years, but I don't think that the fireworks of my youth were half as volatile and dangerous as they are now. In consequence, I believe that for everyone's safety, fireworks should be in organised displays. These could then be avoided by pet owners.
Thank you Sainsbury's Clap Clap Clap
Shame on the other money grabbing supermarkets arghh arghh arghh

Totally agree AD. We have had to put up with over 2 weeks of fireworks going off all around us, guess we have another 3 or 4 days to go. Animals must be fed up and dolally by now

Agreed,AD, though we haven't had any trouble in the village so far.
What a complete and utter waste of money they are!
And, no, I didn't like them as a child either!

I don’t think that fireworks will ever be banned, but this is a good step forward, and if more retailers stop selling them then hopefully it will lead to organised events only

Nothing in our village.

If people are swallowing the nonsense that “the covid pandemic is over” there is usually a short public display on our playing fields.

Otherwise, nothing.
