Is this the worst summer?

Here in Northumberland we’ve had little sunshine, low temperatures, cloud and rain.

Feeling a bit cheated really
I can't remember one as bad so far, Bugs, but my memory has never been that good. It will be quite a few days yet before it improves, according to the forecast tonight.
I think we have only reached 20C twice this year so far. Our lawn is still green unlike other years where it is burnt by end of June
We woke to the sun shining today, and it lasted as the way to mid-afternoon before it clouded up, and of course there were then a few spots of rain too!! Cry
We've been promised some sunshine today.

I'll believe it when I see it!

Hope you saw some, Bugs. It has been one of the best days of the summer here in Nidderdale, nice and sunny but not over hot, and I am still sat outside as I post this.
It has certainly been wetter than usual but been a lot better this last two weeks and having to water the garden.
We seem to have been in the right locations so far this year as we have missed most of the bad weather thankfully.

We've had 2 or 3 "sunny" days - but whereas the mad media and weather people down in London had screaming headlines about "UK basks in temps of 30 degrees" we could only laugh!!

It reached 20 degrees one day - but mainly sticks around 15-18 degrees hereabouts.

It has been fine over here at home, nice and sunny but not too warm, I guess in the low 20s. Hope It warms up a bit more for you.
