Storm Trooper Running Again!
#1
Son Jez will be on BBC TV South tomorrow with a story about his quest to run 1,000 miles this year dressed as a Star Wars Storm Trooper in aid of his chosen Charity - The Children’s Make a wish Foundation!
He is supported by the RAF and is currently deployed away - but still managing to run!

BBC TV South Carried a story about the running stormtrooper tonight and may well feature it again on Sunday. I have tried to attach the clip but have failed miserably!

Son Jez has been nominated. As the regional finalist in the Pride of Britain Awards. Has raised well over £30k now for his charity!

He will appear on BBC TV on Friday I believe, - They are doing a bit of a news item on him. Just got a telling off though because I used an old fund raising amount. His actual amount raised for the Children's "Make a wish " foundation exceeds £50,000 not £30k! He is well on track to complete his 1,000 miles of running this year in his StormTrooper kit - but has promised us that this will be his last year using the kit. He's 46 now and is finding it to be a bit too heavy to run in comfortably. However, he will continue his running in ordinary running gear!
