Storm Trooper Running Again!

His actual amount raised for the Children's "Make a wish " foundation exceeds £50,000 not £30k!  He is well on track to complete his 1,000 miles of running this year in his StormTrooper kit - but has promised us that this will be his last year using the kit. He's 46 now and is finding it to be a bit too heavy to run in comfortably.  However, he will continue his running in ordinary running gear!

I saw the end of the BBC clip, Where will Jez run the virtual marathon this year? Will it be around the RAF base perimeter in the UK, or is he on deployment abroad ?.

No he’s back from Karbul. Ran the virtual marathon on the roads surrounding RAF Benson. Managed his best time yet but now has a badly swollen foot. Apparently he suffered an unexpected problem with a badly leaking running shoe. But he’s done it and now we’ll back on track to complete his 1,000 miles this year.

Son Jez will complete his 2020 challenge of running 1,000 miles in his Stormtrooper outfit this weekend!
As of today he has run 966 miles and intends to complete the remaining 34 miles this weekend.
Many of his miles this year were run in Afghanistan during his deployment there in March.

Wish him all success from me, TF, it certainly been a feat of endurance. Is he going to continue with it next year?
