Lockdown.....What Lockdown???
#11
The other issue is a lack of guidance to the Police in respect of enforcement. Take the case yesterday where two women drove in separate cars to a lake 5 miles away for a socially distanced walk. Yet we’re hauled in and fined £200 each. In other areas people crowding together are ignored!
It brings the whole thing into disrepute!

That was a really odd one. Seemingly there were lots of police vehicles and personel there when they arrived. A conspiracy theorist would suggest that the police were "up to something" and wanted the two women away from the area.

It was the Derbyshire Force again, the same one that over reacted several months ago using a drone to film people walking in the countryside.

Just read that Norfolk police arrested and fined a couple who had travelled from Northamptonshire to Horsey to see the seals. The police drove into the car park and numberplate recognition system identified and out of county registered car. How stupid and selfish are some people. 120 mile round trip

How can it be a lockdown if so many places are open ? , I can still go to B&Q, Halfords and garden Centres,I don’t because I stay at home , but the road outside our house seems as busy as if it was a normal week

I agree with HD, this is not being treated as a full lock down by too many people. The Govt are not making it clear enough. Stay at Home! Do NOT go out unless to buy food and other essential items.
We are using Supermarket deliveries for almost everything. I miss the daily paper which we pay in advance for but needed to collect. But it is not essential. We have wasted the money but so be it!

I see the evidence every day when out with Alfie, the attitude of some is unbelievable, the government has to make it clear and introduce new laws if required. We can't carry on like this, I know from my two NHS working daughters how critical things are.
