Emerson, I love the tall ships race and whenever it is in the U.K. I always visit it. My son Jez took part in it from Newcastle in 1993. He was an Air Cadet then and was crewing the combined services Yacht!

I saw the tall ships at Newcastle, Hartlepool and Blyth.

Didn’t go to Sunderland as I couln’t find my nose clips.....
