Storm Éowyn
#1
Hope that everyone has survived the storm without any damage or injury. We have have had plenty of wind but thankfully it has been dry and I have managed to get out with Flyte for our usual daily walks. OH thought it prudent for her not to venture forth. The wind has started to did down this evening having been around 47 mph locally and was at 69 out by the coast.

Us in my part of Suffolk came of quite well, yes some wind , but 2 days of sunshine, nearly forgotten what it was like to see the sun, another plus the sunshine brought out the snow drops, spring is on the way.

Wind here peaked about 30mph so not top bad. Temperature was 11C so that was a bonus

Looks as if most have faired quite well, but there have been powers cuts up in this part of the country, with even some in our town although the electricity is back on now. Keswick has suffered quite badly as their power was still off earlier this evening.
Dumfries and Galloway appear to have suffered quite badly as Threaves Gardens has been closed and it will be some time before it reopens by the look of it.
