My recently installed Virus Checker (part of our internet package) shows the Caravan Chat website as 'Harmful' and that I should not proceed to this website! Any idea why this should be?
I'll just have to remove the checker if I can't have my fix in the Travellers every now and again.

I use a Norton virus checker and I think that just once it did give a threat warning on this website but very quickly decided it was OK. It was a while ago and its never happened since. Despite frequent scans.

I’m sure Bugs will be able to explain it, ValDa.
Which virus checker is it?
Let's face it, if the Chat website was risky, many of us would have had problems show up before now. Some of us spend a fair bit of time here, after all.

I would hazard a good guess that its telling you the site is not secure with 'https' preceding, which it is not but doesn't need to be. Set it as trusted, its not as if you will be divulging your card details.

I think you’re right, Dave. I found this earlier thread.

I think that answers the question. Carry on posting, Folks.

Ours is a boost which comes with our TalkTalk internet package - and we didn't realise it was available for free until today when talking to a friend of our son!!

This site is secure.. No need to be concerned. Just take the usual precaution about clicking on adverts and ensure that your Anti Virus package has the latest updates.
